C# Developer – Microservice, Python, Financial Services – This is a long term contract opportunity to join our Basel based client in the Financial Services sector.

Your tasks:

• Develop microservices stack in C#
• Refactor and break down a legacy .NET Framework codebase into smaller components for migration to .NET Core and eventually OpenShift containers
• Support in transitioning to a Cloudera-based Data Lake platform
• Replace legacy interfaces to systems with a Kafka-based streaming architecture

     
Your experience/knowledge:
 

• Extensive C# development experience
• Microservices knowledge
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc
• Financial Services business background is highly desirable
• Language skills: English

Your soft skills:
 

• Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
• A high degree of self-organisation and time management
• Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
