System Administrator – Linux Scripting

System Administrator vacancy requiring profound Linux Scripting knowledge for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Operating and maintaining Global Data Platform components such as VM Servers, Kubernetes, and Kafka
• Supporting and implementing Collibra API/Services, including system administration and user access
• Configuring and maintaining Collibra Edge servers for optimal performance
• Managing documentation for solution design, security concepts, and blueprints
• Participating in CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps process development
• Handling incident management, root cause analysis, and monitoring customer experience KPIs

Your experience/knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience in managing cluster environments, including Kubernetes and distributed storage systems such as S3 and HDFS, ideally in the financial industry
• Extensive expertise in Unix/Linux system and application administration
• Strong experience working within complex data environments, encompassing data integration, consumption, and cataloguing
• Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python, along with expertise with APIs and web services, virtual machine setup, scaling Kubernetes clusters, managing Docker with Harbor, and collaborating with development teams for CI/CD pipelines
• Relevant certifications in DevOps and Unix/Linux administration
• Language skills: English and German – fluent
