Kafka Integration Engineer

Kafka Integration Engineer vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Designing and implementing a robust data backup for an on-prem Kafka system running on OpenShift
• Conducting a comprehensive analysis of the current on- prem Kafka system to understand its strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
• Comparing the on- prem Kafka system with (hybrid) cloud solutions to identify potential benefits and drawbacks of each
• Continuous improvements with current Kafka setup

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience in managing product evaluation
• In-depth understanding of Kafka solutions for both on-prem and cloud
• Programming skills in Kafka, Python and Java
• IT integration architecture and cloud solution
• Language skills: English

Your soft skills:
 

• Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
• A high degree of self-organisation and time management
• Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
