IT Project Manager – Cloud Transformation, AWS, Digital Modernisation – This a long term contract opportunity requiring profound Application Modernisation Program knowledge for our Solothurn based client in the trading sector.

Your tasks:

• Developing detailed project roadmaps, charters, and delivery plans aligned with business objectives
• Leading project initiation, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth execution through all project phases, including phase gates
• Delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope while ensuring high standards of quality and performance
• Motivating and leading teams, creating a positive and collaborative project environment to meet deliverables
• Demonstrating strong intercultural communication skills, managing teams across diverse cultural contexts and varying work styles
• Defining and managing success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations
• Providing comprehensive status reports to sponsors, steering committees, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive risk management

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience in IT project management, with a strong track record of leading large-scale digital and cloud transformation projects
• Proven expertise in cloud modernization, especially in AWS technologies
• Solid understanding of IT security, especially in the context of cloud transformations and modernization
• University degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant project management certifications, such as PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent, with experience in both classical and agile methodologies
• Language skills: English – fluent, German or French would be an advantage
