Global Data Owner (GDO)

Global Data Owner vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

• Overseeing the management and maintenance of master data to ensure alignment with the company’s business strategies and objectives
• Identifying and drive opportunities for data harmonization, process automation, and continuous quality improvement to enhance the organization’s data capabilities
• Ensuring that master data governance frameworks, design, and processes are in alignment with end-to-end business processes, regulatory standards, and industry best practices
• Working closely with IT Innovation teams, business leaders, and other stakeholders to identify and capitalize on business opportunities enabled by data
• Defining, implementing, and maintaining master data management guidelines, standards, and governance processes to foster a consistent, transparent, and efficient data ecosystem across the organization

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proven track record in master data management and governance, with a deep understanding of best practices and technologies
• Strong comprehension of business processes and their interplay with data management
• Familiarity with leading tools and technologies that support master data management
• Language skills: English – fluent

Your soft skills:

• Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
• A high degree of self-organisation and time management
• Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
