Scientist / Dissolution and Biopharmaceutics – Technical R&D vacancy for our Basel based client in the Pharma sector.
Your tasks:
- Plan, organize, execute and document dissolution rate experiments including biorelevant dissolution testing (USP I, II and IV), HPLC and UV spectrophotometry.
- Support the development and optimization of analytical methods for the characterization and quantification of drug substances and drug products.
- Analyze, interpret and report analytical data to support drug development.
- Troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation issues, providing scientific rationale and solutions.
- Implement and maintain lean, efficient and environmentally sustainable practices in the laboratory.
Your experience/knowledge:
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in analytical development in the field of dissolution testing (USP I, II and IV).
- Good scientific and technical knowledge in analytical science, in particular in QC and biorelevant dissolution testing as well as applying HPLC analytics.
- Desirable computer software knowledge: Office, WinSotax (DR) and Chromeleon (HPLC).
- Technical education or BS/MSc in analytical chemistry or equivalent.
- Language skills: English
