Software Test Engineer

Software Test Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Risch-Rotkreuz based company in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Creating, reviewing and maintaining test cases
• Planning, executing and documenting of test cases, including defect reporting
• Analyzing data, creating relevant documentation, including study protocols and reports, and presenting results in team meetings
• Taking part in projects related to all Systems Product Care aspects on several platforms, including Software, Hardware, reagents, and consumables
• Performing Root Cause Investigation on Systems issues and feasibility and verification studies according to Change Management processes

Your experience/knowledge:

• 1+ years of Software and Hardware Testing experience, preferably in the laboratory diagnostics or service and support environment, including willingness to work in a highly regulated industry and labs with biosafety levels S1 and S2
• Good knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management Tools, including Open Text ALM or Intland codebeamer
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent
• Familiarity with systems engineering and agile methodologies is a plus
• University degree in a relevant Engineering, Informatics, or Life Sciences discipline, including Biotechnology, Electronics, Automation, Bio- and Process-Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Language skills: English – fluent in written and spoken, German is beneficial
