GoldenSource Engineer vacancy for our Basel based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Lead efforts to ensure business-critical Static and Reference Data applications exceed service expectations
• Analyse and design business processes around the GoldenSource reference and market data product
• Drive the enhancement of business applications and processes.
• Support regular upgrades and maintenance of applications and infrastructure.
• Develop and support test plans for business applications.
• Foster effective communication across the Data Integration team, business areas, and supporting functions

     
Your experience/knowledge:
 

• 5+ years’ experience supporting business applications in a banking environment
• At least 2 years’ experience customizing GoldenSource applications (or similar static and reference data management solutions) which should include Programming and scripting skills experience needed (Java, SQL, Powershell, Python)
• Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Oracle
• Hands-on experience with source control management, automated testing, and deployment
• Solid understanding of financial instruments and data management
• Language skills: English
